She’s a little banged up, but she’s still a diva. Mariah Carey was rushed to the hospital after she dislocated her shoulder on the set of the “Beautiful” remix video with Young Jeezy. Seriously, how many videos are we getting for this one song? Anyway, poor Mimi posted the photo above informing fans that she will be in that “fashionable sling” for a few weeks.
Her husband/do-boy, Nick Cannon, appeared on Today and gave details of the incident. “She was in this nice, beautiful gown, heels on and everything, and was kind of on this platform and reached and slipped and fell on her whole side,” he said on the morning show.
According to Nick, Mariah also cracked a rib and chipped her shoulder bone. Where was this platform she fell from? The moon? All in all, the superstar singer got patched up and returned to set to complete the video. She is now recovering until her MLB All-Star Charity Concert performance on Saturday in Central Park.
